Saibai Island Flag

The flag of the island of Saibai located four kilometers from the Papua New Guinea mainland is a chevron design with green triangle representing land in the first and third quarter with dark blue field representing the sea. The green triangle has a device representing a leaf in yellow representing peace. The eight-pointed star represents Australia. The flag was selected by members of the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council.
